Job Description: This position entails living in a small field camp on a wild, remote island with just one or two other people. Field work includes collecting data on productivity, populations, diet, and survival on a wide range of seabird species, such as puffins, murres, auklets, and storm-petrels. We will provide travel to Homer, Alaska from any location in the United States and a small stipend. To apply, please send a resume and references to Brie_Drummond@fws.gov.
Qualifications: Preference is given to applicants who would be available for the full field season from 24 April until early September, but we will also consider candidates who are available for only part of that time (ideally late April to mid July, or mid July through early September).
