PSG Student Research Grant application is open!
PSG is now accepting applications for 2024 PSG Student Research Grants. PSG will fund five grants up to $2,000 each! This grant application is open to all students who are currently PSG members. Deadline to apply: February 4, 2024.
Student research grants are awarded to aid student-led research in the promotion of up-and-coming scholar members of the Pacific Seabird Group. Due to the generosity of the Former Chairs, the PSG Student Research Grant will fund five grants for $2,000 each: one grant per degree-level (bachelor, master, doctoral) and two additional grants based on review scores.
The application deadline is February 4, 2024 and funds will be awarded at the PSG 2024 Annual Meeting in Seattle.
To be eligible, applicants must be members and currently enrolled students conducting seabird-based research but the applicable research must be seabird-based. To become a PSG member, click here. Funding may support costs associated with research including field or lab supplies and equipment, travel to research or lab sites, and licensing and permitting fees.
