Workshop Description: Acoustic recorders provide a non-invasive and cost-effective technique to study vocal species. This is especially true for seabird research, where study sites may be difficult to access, and timing and conditions make traditional methods of monitoring challenging. This workshop will teach participants the basic principles of acoustics, features and set up of the Song Meter Mini recorder, how to create recording schedules, and more.
