PSG 2017 Memberhip Drive!

PSG needs your support. Please join or renew your membership with PSG today!  Renewing or joining only takes a few minutes and will help PSG continue to serve the membership and Pacific seabirds. 
We all benefit from the free exchange of ideas on the PSG listserv, job postings, announcements, website, the annual meeting… and these services are not free.  PSG is run by volunteers and it needs your help to maintain operations.   Renewing or joining only takes a few minutes.

PSG achievements recently and over the last 44 years include:

  • Strong international reputation to contribute high quality science to conservation and management decisions for Pacific seabirds
  • Financial support to 18 seabird conservation projects in 8 countries through the Craig S. Harrison Conservation fund
  • In the last two years, eight official letters were sent to contribute science-based recommendations to governments on critical seabird related issues
  • The 2016 PSG annual meeting in Tacoma, WA attracted more than 250 scientists, managers and students representing 12 countries
  • PSG publishes ‘Marine Ornithology’ on behalf of a consortium of five societies. Marine Ornithology is the only exclusive seabird publication in the world

Annual membership dues are only $40 for individuals or $30 for student members, valid until 31 Dec 2017.  Consider becoming a LifeTime member and never having to renew again. Lifetime membership is US$1,200 (or 5 payments of $240)
