Pacific Seabirds 50(1) is available online!
We are pleased to announce the first installment of the newly formatted Pacific Seabirds Issue 50(1) is available online! Pacific Seabirds is the official publication of the Pacific Seabird Group (PSG) and serves to provide members with recent news on financial reports, Annual Meetings, regional reports, conservation needs and outcomes, special events, awards, decisions of the PSG, and more, plus archive this information for all members. Over its history, Pacific Seabirds has taken many forms, changing based on the needs of our membership—we are thrilled to share its next update!
This new version of the publication is now live in its new home on the Pacific Seabird Group website! This living webpage will be updated twice yearly with new content, including articles, reviews, art, photography, member updates, upcoming events, and more from PSG members—like you!
The Pacific Seabirds Committee is excited to welcome you to this first issue of the new version of our organization’s long-standing publication. We are also excited to continue working alongside PSG membership to deliver important news and relevant information in an engaging way!
Issue 50(1) of Pacific Seabirds features an overview of the new publication format (including details on how Regional Report submission has changed), PSG member updates, an upcoming events calendar, PSG committee updates, an overview of the upcoming PSG Annual Meeting, a sneak peek at some Faces of Seabird Conservation, an article from our friends at Oikonos about their work with scientific illustrators, and some updates from PSG HELPS recipients.
You can visit the Pacific Seabirds webpage and check out all of this issue’s articles here.
