Job Opening: Marine Mammal Scientist (Falkland Islands)

The South Atlantic Environmental Research Institute (SAERI) is recruiting a marine mammal scientist (pinniped bycatch) to support the coordination and delivery of a Darwin Initiative funded project. Deadline to apply: 8/22/2022.

SAERI is recruiting a Specialist—net cameras for Seal Exclusion Devices (SEDs) to support the co-ordination and delivery of a Darwin Initiative funded project. This 6 month fixed term role will work in partnership with the Falkland Islands Government and Falkland Islands Fishing Companies Association (FIFCA) to facilitate the successful deployment of trawl net cameras. Start date is negotiable, but ideally January 2023.
