Video of Black-capped Petrels
Watch a new short video of the Black-capped Petrel on Facebook! The film makes the connection between the survival of the bird and the Haitian people, and helps the local community understand their critical role in conservation.
Environmental Protection in the Caribbean (EPIC) just announced the release of a new short 10 minute video on the Black-capped Petrel on Facebook. Created by Soulcraft Allstars, this film was shown at the First Annual Diablotin Festival in Boukan Chat, Haiti in April 2018. The community turned out en masse to view (three times in a row!) and to ask questions.
The largest known population of Black-capped Petrels (or Diablotins) is in Haiti, which is a nation greatly challenged by environmental degradation.

Once you watch it, please like, comment, and most importantly SHARE the post, so we can spread the news of Diablotin conservation far and wide.
