Student scholarships now open for the Western Field Ornithologists Conference!
The WFO Student Programs Committee is pleased to offer up to seven scholarships for students from the age of 12 to 22 to attend the 2025 annual conference.
Each year WFO holds a multi-day conference with scientific papers, field trips, workshops, panels, a keynote address, the annual membership meeting, and other events. The location varies each year as WFO attempts to span its region of coverage while also making its conferences accessible to the bulk of its members.
The WFO Student Programs Committee is pleased to offer up to seven scholarships for students from the age of 12 to 22 to attend the 2025 annual conference.
The scholarship includes most expenses and fees associated with the annual conference, including registration fees, most field trips, workshops, two tickets to WFO reception/banquet (one for the recipient and one for a family member), and up to three nights of hotel accommodations in Yakima, Washington. (Please note that a double room will be reserved for those attending with family members.)
