Statement of support for #AAPI and #Diversity
Dear PSG community,
Seabirds cross ecological and geo-political boundaries and remind us that diversity is a most treasured attribute in nature. Likewise, cultural and racial diversity are critical for a thriving and innovative scientific community.
Pacific Seabird Group stands in solidarity with members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in Atlanta and across the US. We unequivocally condemn anti-Asian racism, xenophobia, and white supremacy in all its forms in the US, Canada, and around the world. We grieve with all those impacted by the attack on March 16, and we strive to create and maintain a space where safety, respect, equity, and inclusion for everyone are our top priorities.
