VIEW aims to support students without previous experience in this field.

The Seabird Oceanography Lab will be hosting a VIEW fellow during the summer 2024 field season. In this role, the fellow will be involved in both field and laboratory work related to ongoing research on various aspects of seabird ecology. In the field, the fellow will assist with the monitoring of nest success, prey provisioning, and depredation at murre and cormorant colonies. In the laboratory, the fellow will be responsible for the processing and analysis of fecal samples collected from terrestrial carnivores known to be actively hunting nesting seabirds.
