The team behind Marine Ornithology is also pleased to announce that the backend of the MO website has been updated to improve its functionality on various platforms and make future upgrades easier. This does mean that the entire backend of the MO website is running on new code, and there are no doubt some minor issues that have not yet been found. Errors should redirect to a “page not found” page with instructions for emailing issues to Iain at iduncan@xornot.com. If you find site errors (including any that do not redirect to this error page), please let Iain know and they will fix the errors as quickly as possible. You will notice in the browser that the URLs are now slightly different, but there is a compatibility layer running that routes old URLs to the new ones, so all old URLs should still work.
