MassWildlife is hiring a Coastal Waterbird Specialist to assist the Natural Heritage & Endangered Species Program’s Coastal Waterbird Biologist with all aspects of revising and implementing the Piping Plover Statewide Habitat Conservation Plan. The Coastal Waterbird Specialist assists with other tasks related to management of recreational beaches and other areas providing habitat to state and/or federally listed terns and Piping Plovers.

Postdoc Position: Seabird Migration Ecology (Denmark)
The Department of Ecoscience at Aarhus University has a 2-year postdoc position available in the field of marine ecology and environmental statistics. This project will investigate links between seabird migration and the global distribution of seamounts. Deadline to apply: 12/8/2023.
Paid Scientist: Marine Species Lead Biologist (WA)
The Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife is hiring a marine species lead biologist. The person in this position will work independently and collaboratively drives the development, communication, and implementation of comprehensive biological assessments and conservation plans for native nongame wildlife in Washington. Application reviews begin on 12/14/2023; final deadline to apply is 12/28/2023.
