The National Trust for Scotland (NTS) is hiring an ecologist to carry out a list of high priority research, operational work, and communications projects to progress NTS’s seabird conservation actions across its seabird sites. Deadline to apply: February 25, 2024.
There are multiple REU positions available at Oregon State University’s Hatfield Marine Science Center for Summer 2024. Oregon State University is hiring a Faculty Research Assistant to lead the census of Caspian Terns in the Pacific Flyway during the 2024 nesting period. This position will perform a variety of duties, including communication with collaborators, data collection via aerial survey photography, colony counts from photos, and more. ACAP is seeking an Executive Secretary in the Secretariat of the Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels (ACAP). Linda Elliott is the Founder, President and Center Director of the Hawaiʻi Wildlife Center. She is a graduate of Kalaheo High school on Oʻahu, attended the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, and holds a degree in Wildlife Biology from Arizona State University.
Stephen W. Kress is the founder of Project Puffin and former vice president for bird conservation at the National Audubon Society. Dr. Kress received his Ph.D. from Cornell University, and his master’s and undergraduate degrees from Ohio State University.
