Internship Opportunity: USFWS Career Discovery (U.S.)
Eligibility:
- US Citizens or Permanent Residents
- First and Second Year college students academic year 2020-2021
- Some positions in this program will require you to have access to a personal vehicle during your internship.
- Available to serve in the Southeast, Midwest, Northeast, or Alaska: May or early June to August 2021
Program Details:
- Internships take place at U.S. Fish and Wildlife field stations throughout the country
- Internships are 12 weeks long during the summer
- Internship Areas of focus include: visitor services, natural resources management, and refuge management
- Participate in a week-long orientation session to kick off your internship
Benefits:
Total package of up to $5800.00 that includes:

- Assigned U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Mentor
- Travel Expenses to and from orientation and internship sites
